Full indoor and outdoor replacement after vandals set fire to the condenser compound
The job
Vandals set fire to the condenser compound at the Rural Clinical School's Kalgoorlie offices. We were contracted to remove and replace the air conditioning.
Given the age of the systems it became a full replacement rather than a repair, indoors and out. Daikin Australia helped with unit selection, cross referencing the old VRV systems to find suitable replacements. The damaged units were crane lifted away and the new ones set in place, with damaged pipework replaced and new mains power run.
Every indoor unit was replaced along with the controls, plus a Daikin iTouch centralised controller. We ran the whole job and scheduled every trade on site, which is what kept the school operational the whole way through.
